Yeah, that just about sums up this video and article by AOPA on the Stearman incident at Reagan Nat’l. I’m impressed with how calm the pilot is with his passenger. I’d be curious the amount of damage that is done.
In other taildragger news, tomorrow will be another first for me as I go off to New Orleans to fly a Piper J-3 Cub. It’s pretty much a dream plane for me. Hope to have a good story and some good pictures to go with it…
